It's not enough that you have a great user interface and have used the best development techniques; if you can't manage the scheduling, resource, change and political issues, your software may never be implemented.
It's not enough that you have a great user interface and have used the best development techniques; if you can't manage the scheduling, resource, change and political issues, your software may never be implemented. Learn from ""Jedi Masters"" the proven techniques that will give you an unfair advantage when faced with unclear requirements, unreasonable schedules, mysterious milestones and the dreaded ""my technology is better than your technology"" argument. Some of these techniques will aid you in ""aggressive negotiation"" and others are particularly effective when used against the unenlightened. All of these techniques will increase your chances of success and can be used by developers, architects and project managers alike.
This session offers a door prize for participants. The first 100 people to view this video will be entered to win a copy of the presenters’ book, A Hero Behind Every Tree — The Non-Technical Reasons Your IT Investments Fail.
