Last week's survey question had me asking you whether you used social bookmarking. The majority of the respondents (63 percent) answered: What's social bookmarking? So, I figured that a bit of description would be the right thing to do.

Social bookmarking is basically one of various services that let you share Web bookmarks using tags. When you see the various Technorati tags, for example, that enables social bookmarking in a way -- you can look at an entry here on the blog, click on one of the technorati tags, and it will take you to all of the other blog entries that told technorati to bookmark them using that tag.
