Valerie Wang, Blackberry
Valerie comes to the interview from the Blackberry booth (the a sponsor of this segment). She tells us why she's SO excited about the new product announcement of Lotus Connections and what it means for Blackberry (and us!). She also talks about what Blackberry expects to get out of Lotusphere this year. Be sure to stop by and visit them!
John Beal - Les Schwab Tire Center
John and I had fun chatting before the interview. As a recently self-labeled "gearhead", I was delighted to find out that the Toyo tires I recently purchased most likely came from his company (based in Oregon). John tells us how he came into Notes and what a great day on the job is like!
Norm Van Bergen - Symcor
Norm tells us about his company, Symcor, and struggles with the same thing everyone is struggling with this year at Lotusphere - which sessions to go to? A great guy, a great interview, and he even let me tease him a little bit when he had to check and see whether he was using a Blackberry or Mobile PC device. I couldn't tease him *too* much, though - he definately hasn't been the first person to do that today!
Keith Brooks - Vanessa Brooks
I met Keith outside the product showcase, instantly recognizeable as promised, wearing a bright yellow "Boca" beanie, complete with propellers and all! If you see him walking around, be sure to say hello. Keith tells us how many Lotusphere's he's been to, and what he enjoys the most here. Oh, did I mention he's doing a BOF also?
