There are 3 categories of interviews: 2 Minutes With The Gurus, 2 Minutes With Lotus, and 2 Minutes With Our Members. Some of the interviews go longer than 2 minutes, but when they do, we guarantee it’s worth the listen.

Alistair Rennie
LotusUserGroup.org caught up with Alistair Rennie, General Manager of Lotus Software at IBM, and we recorded the whole conversation for you to hear. Listen in to hear what he finds matters most in his new position and what he took away from his first Lotusphere as GM. He talks about where Lotus is with their announced plans for expanding enterprise mobile messaging — including an Android update, stats on the first Lotus iPhone app, and an announcement about support for the iPad.
Alistair talks about the progress being made on Project Vulcan and when the IBM Project Vulcan-based development environment will be available on LotusLive Labs. He also touches on the increased interest seen from companies not currently in the Notes space wanting to go to LotusLive.

Eric covers all those things and more.

Akiba Saeedi, IBM
It's hard to forget Akiba; her smiling face appeared on stage at the Lotusphere Opening General Session, where she told us all about Sametime. Now she tells Jess about her Sametime sessions here at Admin2007, and her first foray into Lotus Notes. Hint: There was no Domino yet!
