As part of our partnership with IBM, they provide us with case studies about how companies use - and succeed with - Lotus software. This month, Lotus sends new case studies on companies that have implemented an array of IBM solutions. You can use these case studies, and the past case studies IBM has provided us, to get ideas for your own environment and applications or to support your company's use of Lotus software products. Case studies are a great tool for "selling" Notes inside your organization (or protecting Notes when someone is trying to sell something else). Below are abstracts of the newest case studies and links to the complete list of all the past case studies. Each month we'll add new case studies, so check back at our Case Studies page often.

You can also submit your own company for a case study - just follow the guidelines available on that same Case Studies page.

Here are two of the latest:

• Sogeti - Sogeti, a Capgemini subsidiary that specializes in technology services, needed to find a way for its more than 20,000 employees spread across 200 offices in 14 countries to share information to speed the formation of consulting teams for customer engagements, while also driving efficiency improvements. Sogeti chose Lotus Connections V2.5. To provide a collaborative Web 2.0 work environment for its employees, Sogeti integrated the new IBM Lotus Connections platform with its existing Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft SharePoint software, as well as with first-phase Confluence Enterprise wiki software and improved internal knowledge sharing help the company enter new markets, drive new revenue and create market-share opportunities.
